Halloween Countdown

DateMath counts to 12:00 AM on October 31 on your device's clock, the moment Halloween starts where you are. Halloween is always October 31, so its weekday moves one day later each year, and two after a February 29. It is not a US federal holiday, so offices and banks keep their usual hours when it falls on a weekday. The next ten years:

In most of the US, daylight saving time ends at 2:00 AM on the first Sunday in November (15 U.S.C. 260a), always within a week after Halloween. In 2026 that is Sunday, November 1, 2026, 1 day after Halloween, so the clocks go back an hour that night.
