Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

DateMath (datemath.app) is run by Dross Creative, Hungary, the data controller for the data described in this policy under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at hello@datemath.app.

2. The dates you enter

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The dates, times and numbers you type are not sent to us or stored by us. They leave the page only if you use “Copy a link to this calculation”: the inputs are then part of the link you share, after its “#”, and anyone who opens it sees them. Browsers do not send that part of a link to our server. If you open such a link, our analytics may record its full address, including the inputs, with the page view.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate use of the site: which pages are visited, which calculators are used and how visitors arrive. It collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and sets cookies to tell visits apart. We do not use it to identify you. Google processes this data as our service provider; see Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

4. Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, whose network handles each request (including your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.

5. Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and keep them only as long as needed for that.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email hello@datemath.app.

7. Children

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date above.
